So I’m on my second week of senior year and it’s going by pretty good. I’m looking forward to all my classes especially Physiology and Economics. I’m excited for these classes because I’m planning on majoring in Psychology or criminology. The one thing I told myself that I needed to work on was procrastination and I have done such a good job at it. Now, when I’m assigned homework I get right to it and I don’t wait until last minute to get it done. I love using my time wisely and efficiently because I feel like I have more time than anyone else. Being on top of things is so helpful and I’m not stressed at all because I’m making sure that I have my priorities straight and getting all my work done and on time to avoid stress and bad reputation with the teachers. What I’m looking forward to the most my final year here at Lindsay High School is applying for colleges and finding out whether or not I will be accepted into the schools of my interest. I’m really interested in going somewhere down south simply because of location. My main focus is Santa Barbara or Long Beach. I would like to attend one of these schools because of their location and they have the classes that I need for my major interests. I haven’t really set my mind as to what I want to do yet. My choices are between a correctional officer, lawyer, a warden in a prison or a judge. As you can tell I still have a lot of thinking to do and choosing what I want to do with my life but all of those jobs above really catch my attention, if only I could do them all. The reason for me choosing to major in psychology or criminology is because I could use that for many different job opportunities and it will help me keep my options open if I decide to change my mind. The thing I’m looking forward to this year is all the school events, senior sunset/sunrise, grad nite and graduation of course. I have so many things to look forward to because it is my last year in high school and I don’t want to regret anything for my senior year. I plan on participating in all the school activities and going to all the school events. I want to have a great year with all my classmates and make it the best out of all the four so that we leave this school with a big bang. It still hasn’t hit me that it’s my last year being a kid before going off to the real world and it’s actually scary in a way but exciting at the same time. I’m ready to take on full responsibility and going off to college. I can’t wait to meet new people and visit new places. I was told that senior year goes by in a blink of an eye and I’m expecting for that to be true because I know junior year flew by.
