Junior year was exactly what everyone said it would be – stressful! I truly was not expecting it to be this difficult but it sure was. I know I've tried my best in everything that I've done and l am proud of myself at the end of the day. The most important accomplishment that I reached was certainly being able to have great time management skills. I know I struggled at first but I made sure that I used my time wisely and kept myself organized. I can’t believe I managed to handle 3 AP classes along with playing softball. It wasn’t easy at all but I managed to do it by making sure I used every minute to my advantage. I’m glad that I decided on taking so many AP classes because I got a taste of the college life and how stressed I’ll be in the near future. Of course, no one likes to be stressed but at least I’m now aware of what’s to come. Being a part of these AP classes brought a different environment that not every classroom has. When I’m in one of my AP classes I can right away tell the difference because of the atmosphere and the vibes in the classroom. It’s a class full of students who love the challenge of education at a whole other level. I truly grew close to all my AP classmates and AP facilitators which is a plus. One thing that I could improve on is having confidence in myself and being hard on myself because I tend to do that all the time no matter what it is that I’m doing. I’m my own enemy sometimes and I hate it because I put a lot of pressure on myself which ends up just stressing me out but I do that because I know what I am capable of and don’t want to settle for nothing but the best. On the other hand, I can’t wait for summer because I get to relax and have some fun before my big year – senior year! I told myself that I’d start reading in the summer so hopefully I go through with it. I’m very excited for senior year because not only does that mean I’ll be graduating soon but I’ll be one step closer to going off to college. I don’t really have a specific university in mind but I do know that I want to go to college located down south because I love the area and feel like there’s a lot to do out there. Senior year is just around the corner and I can’t wait to see my new schedule and go all out for my final year in high school. Last year of school before I’m considered an adult, kind of scary once I really think about it but for now, I’ll enjoy my last year in high school with all my friends, try not to stress by taking everything one day at a time and be happy with everything that happens.
